Charles Harris retired from Procter & Gamble (P&G) in Cincinnati, Ohio as a Section Head after 28 years in Product Supply contributing to bottom-line business results in Food & Beverage (Jif Peanut Butter, Crisco Shortening, Sunny Delight), Baby Care (Pampers/Luvs) and Paper (Bounty paper towels, Always) Products businesses as a Civil Engineer, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, Project/Program Manager, Plant Purchasing Manager, and Category Capital Systems Manager. Charles currently consults with and helps fund small startup businesses and existing businesses seeking to grow and expand.
Charles’ Major strengths include strong leadership, strong team player, strong team-building and excellent project/program/construction management skills, and communication skills with attention to detail in negotiating and then delivering/exceeding the promised results.
Charles is active in his community via the local Rotary Club (former president), Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity (Life Member), NAACP (Life Member), and his church as a Deacon.
Charles, a native of Arkansas, grew up on a farm near Arkadelphia, Arkansas, attended a two-room rural elementary school, left Arkansas at 16 for better educational opportunities, graduated from high school in Oakland, California with honors and received full undergraduate and graduate academic scholarships to Stanford University, Palo Alto, California. Charles received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (1972) and his Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering-Construction Management (1973).
